The firms Water Law Section represents water supply corporations (WSC), special utility districts (SUD), municipal utility districts (MUD), and other forms of utility districts. Our attorneys bring many years of experience representing and advising clients on all legal matters relevant to water and sewer service providers including: state and federal regulatory compliance; service area (CCN) and political boundary disputes; drafting orders, resolutions, contracts, rate orders and policies; easements and other real property matters; eminent domain; compliance with the Public Information Act and Open Meetings Act; special utilities conversions, elections, obtaining or amending water rights, discharge and other permits through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Public Utilities Commission (PUC); and litigation or contested proceedings in the state and federal courts and before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH).
